Kensington Palace has posted on its Twitter profile that Prince William and Princess Kate will visit Poland and Germany on July 17-21.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, William and Kate, plan to visit Warsaw, Gdańsk, Berlin, Heidelberg and Hamburg.

Kensington Palace reported for the first time about the planned trip to Poland in March this year. Then minister Krzysztof Szczerski confirmed the information.

The visit reflects a broad and deep partnership between the United Kingdom and Poland – as per the Kensington Palace statement.

In addition to Poland, Wiliam and Kate will also visit Germany in July.

I am delighted about the visit of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in Poland in July. The visit shows a special bond between the UK and Poland – said Jonathan Knott, UK Ambassador to Poland.

Polish presidential couple is happy to welcome them in our country in July this year – said Szczerski in March – The presidential couple was delighted to receive news of the intention to visit Poland by Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge. Kate and William will be welcomed guests in Poland – he added.

We take this visit as a confirmation of cordial ties between our countries and peoples. Our intention is to have the couple’s stay join the elements of an official visit and private time of both couples – the minister said.
