Police officers have found buried objects from the Bronze Age near Janowiec Wielkopolski, Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodship.

Bronze Age treasure
The found items are primarily various types of ornaments made of bronze and other metals, as well as arrowheads. They are about 3,000 years old.
The treasure was found by a police officer from the criminal division in Poznań, which deals with cultural protection and recovery of looted relics.
Along with another policeman they went to the forest by Janowiec Wielkopolski, because they received information that there have been suspicious people around for a couple of days. When they arrived at the location they did not meet anyone. They found, however, the place where the treasure from the Bronze Age was – says Andrzej Borowiak, a spokesman for the Wielkopolska police.

3,000 year old ornament
It is mainly jewellery: hair ornaments and bracelets, but also arrowheads – adds Borowiak.
All the items have been safely stored and given to archaeologists. The police did not disclose the exact place of the discovery of the treasure.
