The Centre of Public Opinion Research (CBOS) has run a survey about life satisfaction among Poles. Over three quarters of Poles (75.7%) are generally satisfied with their lives, with one-quarter (25.1%) being very satisfied.

Every fifth respondent (20.3%) says they are moderately satisfied with their life, and only 3.6% of respondents expressed general dissatisfaction with life (including the overwhelming majority being rather dissatisfied). It is also worth mentioning that there are 5% more respondents very satisfied with their life than a year ago – the highest percentage since 1994.

Analyses indicate that overall satisfaction with life is associated primarily with the assessments of its private spheres. Assessments and forecasts for political and economic condition of the country do not have a significant impact on people’s feelings of happiness.
