The project was created of two businessmen brothers – enthusiasts of the interwar period, when advanced engineering structures were created in Poland. Łukasz and Marek Tomkiewicz wanted to create the first Polish supercar. Therefore, in 2008, they began to explore the global market for such vehicles and create the boundary conditions for the construction of the first sports car in Poland.

The first prototype concept was created in 2011. Afterwards there were a few test models. The first race car was first shown publicly at the Autosport exhibition in Birmingham in January 2016.

Six months later, the same car was invited to participate in the prestigious Festival of Speed in Goodwood, where Arrinera Hussarya GT competed in the supercars class, and was the first Polish car in history on this type of event.
